When you wipe fan blades the usual way, dust spreads into the air and settles all over the room. It’s messy, time-consuming, and frustrating—especially if you have allergies.
That’s where my nana’s clever trick comes in.
What You’ll Need
An old pillowcase (clean and dry)
A small amount of all-purpose cleaner or vinegar spray (optional)
That’s it. No ladder full of tools. No dust explosion.
How the Trick WorksHow the Trick Works
Lightly spray the inside of the pillowcase with cleaner (optional)
Slide the pillowcase over one fan blade at a time
Gently pull the pillowcase back while squeezing the blade inside
The dust stays trapped inside the pillowcase, not in the air
