How to prepare this artery-cleansing juice.
Ingredients:
1-inch piece of fresh ginger root,
2 cloves of fresh garlic
, 1 whole lemon (preferably organic, with the zest),
1 cup of water (for mixing),
Honey (optional, for taste).
Instructions:
1. Preparation: Peel the garlic and ginger. Wash the lemon thoroughly and slice it into rounds, including the zest.
2. Mix or press:
If using a juicer, process all the ingredients through the machine.
If using a blender, add the ingredients with water and blend until smooth.
3. Filter: Pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.
4. Taste and adjust: add honey if desired, or more water to soften the flavor.
